If you would like to make a monetary contribution, you may use the membership form to make a general donation, or contribute to the Second Century Endowment.

Donations of books and other items

The Friends of Washoe County Library welcomes donations of quality used books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, paperbacks, large print books, fiction, non-fiction, and current software.

Donations are accepted during business hours at the Friends Warehouse. Small quantities (two boxes or less) may be brought to branches of the Washoe County Library during open hours.

All donations are evaluated for quality, and are put to good use supporting library services in Washoe County! Some end up on Library shelves, and many unique items are sold at the Secondhand Prose bookstore. Thousands more are sold at our regular warehouse booksales and at the ever-popular Booksale Bonanza.
